I don’t know what its been recently, but I’ve been looking a lot into camouflage. Maybe, I’m mentally trying to hide from this cold Florida weather or (more likely) I’m just looking for another great neutral pattern to add to my repertoire. Whatever the reason, operation camo is a go! This print is no longer reserved for hunting or fatigues. It has made its way into our favorite stores and I don’t think it’s leaving anytime soon.
This top from Anthropologie is a great way to give this print a try. The material is an incredibly soft cotton that is perfect to just throw on and go with your favorite bottoms. Obviously good old-fashioned denim or khaki would do the trick, but I love how my favorite black jeans from LOFT compliment the print. I rounded out the look with my Gucci dupe mules from Target and the most militaristic accessory I could think of, my old-school Ray-Ban aviators.
I must have really been feeling this outfit because I got into character a little bit. This Hershel backpack, a Christmas gift from David, is as functional as it is stylish. I specifically requested this backpack because of all the walking we do through town. Having a special sleeve for my laptop, it’s perfect for when David and I go our ‘workdates.’ AKA, we walk to the our favorite coffee shop on the weekend and work on our side hustles for a few hours. I’m also planning for this gem to be my go to bag when we travel all through Italy this summer.
