How are we almost halfway through September already? It’s hard to remember that it’s the beginning of fall when your hometown still hits the 90s daily (and 80% plus humidity). Even though we don’t get there as soon as the rest of the country, I’m already gearing up for my fall wardrobe. Spoiler alert: it’s full of thick materials, earth tones, and fun fabrics.
Until we get that 60 degrees and breezy weather, I’ll be trying to combine my summer and fall looks the best I can. That’s such a fine line, but this lace top from Anthropologie does a pretty good job. The material is a thicker cotton that is almost sweater like, but the lace sleeves keep me comfortable in all kinds of weather.
To transition this piece and get ready for fall, I slid on my favorite pair of Olive skinnies. This pair from Old Navy is extremely comfy and miraculously slimming. I can almost guarantee that I will be wearing them time and time again from here on out. Rounding out the outfit, I picked out my go-to leopard clutch from BP and my black espadrille platforms from Soludos. Espadrilles are usually saved for the summertime, but I find mine to be so comfy, I can’t help but where mine all year round.
