Ladies, Easter is just around the corner and it’s the best time to pick out your Spring best for the day. There are so many great options out there for you to choose from. Be sure to check out my dress gallery below for some additional inspiration.
How perfect is this little number from J. Crew? The color is the just right amount of pastel to match those dyed eggs, Peeps, and jelly beans you might find in your Easter basket. The length is nice and modest for my church-going gals, even with the scalloped hemline. This is such a darling detail that just screams that Spring has sprung.
There are so many great choice out there for Easter day. Here are some things for you to consider while finding that perfect dress.
- Keep the colors light: The best part of Easter is that you get to officially break out your whites and pastels! Do we Floridians tend to do that a little earlier? Of course, but Easter is the official green light to go. So, feel free to tuck away your black, navy, olive, and burgundy dresses until fall.
- Mind the length: If you attend an Easter service (of any kind), be mindful of where you are and keep your dress length appropriate. Mini dress are great, but there’s a time and place for everything. Try looking for something maybe closer to knee length. You may even want to bring out the high school rule of thumb: finger-tip length is best.
- Have a cover-up on the ready: It seems hard to believe that the Floridian is saying this, but having a shawl, sweater, or light jacket is always safe to have for Easter. The weather is still up in the air in some places and a light cover-up will help you stay modest in the church setting.
- Go matchy: If you have you a little one at home, feel free to get all coordinated for Easter. This is one of best photo ops of the year. The weather is beautiful, it’s the start of a new season, and everyone is looking so dapper. Eyes may be rolled, but it’s completely worth it.
I hope you found some inspiration from this post. What do you usually look for when picking out your Easter day look?
